1.2 Information collected automatically

Like most hosted websites, our hosting provider records standard technical data when pages load: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed and timestamps. This data keeps the site available and secure; it is not used to build advertising profiles.

1.3 Engagement records

In the ordinary course of consulting we keep records that may include business contact details: client and vendor information, scope letters, work product and deliverables, notes, invoicing and payment records, and correspondence. These are business records of the Firm, handled under engagement terms and this policy.

2. How We Use Information

We treat them as confidential business records, restrict access to personnel working the matter, and disclose them only to counterparties and authorities entitled to them. Where an engagement involves regulated contexts (employment data, medical-office operations, customs matters, financial records), any additional handling obligations are set out in the scope letter and honored on top of this policy.

6. Data Retention

Website and server logs are retained per our hosting provider's standard schedule. Inquiry correspondence that does not become business is generally retained for up to 24 months. Engagement, contract, tax and regulatory records are kept for the periods required by applicable law and engagement terms — which can be several years. When records outlive their purpose and their legal clock, they are deleted or destroyed.

7. Security

We protect information with measures appropriate to a small consulting firm: restricted access to email and records, reputable hosted infrastructure, and HTTPS delivery of this website. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will respond as applicable law requires. You can help by not sending sensitive materials until a scope letter establishes handling terms.

8. Your Choices & Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, and to receive a copy of it. This website and the Firm's services are directed at adult clients and business counterparties. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact the desk and we will delete it.
